Our Team of Key Workers
Role of the key worker
The Key Person is the named practitioner who has responsibility for a group of children: they are there to help the child feel safe and secure. The role is important for both child and parent and is an approach set out by the EYFS. The key person will respond to the children’s needs and help them settle into the new environment, communication is paramount between a key person and a parent as these discussions hold key information about the child, a key person will be a point of contact for parents and families.
Here at rascals we strongly believe that parent partnerships are key to a holistic picture off a child’s life and development.
