Welcome to our website, we are a day care nursery in Gorleston. We look after children from birth to when they leave to go to reception. We are open from 8am until 6pm 5 days a week. Our sessions are 8-1, 1-6 or 8-6. If you would like to have a look around please get into contact with us to book an appointment, we look forward to meeting you!
Safeguarding is very important to us, we are very open with our parents and carers and thrive to have clear understanding about the care given to all children whilst at nursery and at home. All of our staff have safeguarding training; we update their training and send them on Norfolk County Council training if they do not hold safeguarding training. Safeguarding is always on the agenda for staff meetings to go over any legislation or guidance changes.
Our Designated Lead Safeguarding Co-ordinators are: Gemma Pudney & Holly Burrell - one if not all are on the premises at all times, and always easy to get hold of.
We also have a trained SENCO Gemma Pudney (Special Educational Needs coordinator) to help support with any concerns you have about your child’s development whether they feel big or small, whilst upholding professionalism and care we are always here to talk to.
Inclusion is also woven into our practice on a day to day basis this includes working with various documents such as Prevent but also through British Values.
If you would like to look at our policies relating to these topics please contact us or have a look in our hallway as all policies and procedures are readily available.
